We thought it only apropos that we pick up the Pregonts in proper attire--the Sudanese Tobe. While Jordan is a Muslim country, and many women do cover, they don't have the unique (and beautiful) tobes seen here. We were quite the spectacle at the airport! Thank goodness they finally recognized us!Later that evening we had a little demonstration on how to wear the tobe. It's much easier than it seems, with one long piece of fabric simply tied and wrapped around you until you are fully covered!

We needed extra space to carry back all of those Reese's! Can't wait to see how Atchison's fashion scene deals with cutting edge tobes!
I'll wear it to work one of these days...just wait and see!
