Although it was small, I was amazed to see a nice manila envelope (unopened!) waiting in my box at school! It was about the third piece of mail I've had since I arrived here.
It was a package from Thailand from my dad, Fon and Natalie sent only seven days earlier. He had sent an email on my birthday warning me that I may never get the package, as Sudan was one of four countries the Thai Mail didn't deliver express mail to. Amazingly, it got here.
So to celebrate the beautiful Thai silk scarf, we decided it was high time for curry puffs, my absolute favorite little snack while I'm in Thailand. I drive my dad insane searching for just the right ones, hot out of the fryer.
