Save a Plastic Tree...

Plastic bags are everywhere. We all know how convenient a plastic bag is, but sometimes it's not so easy to the toll it takes on the local landscape. Perhaps this is my pitch to take your own bag to the store.

I've been meaning to write about Rwanda's new "no plastic bag" policy. What innovation! Plastic bags, simply are not allowed. You can't enter with one, and you won't be able to find them there either. They're taking some steps to conserve their precious eco-tourism projects. (You know the gorillas there are one of three places to view them!) Go Rwanda!

I wouldn't mind the US banning plastic bags too!
