The rains came yesterday. Since this is the desert there really isn't any infrastructure to deal with drainage. So, here's what it looked like when we left for school and what it looked like when we returned.
Basically the streets flood until the water magically goes away....or you shoo it away with a plastic sandal, as demonstrated by the man here. (He's trying to keep his bodega dry.)
