So life ain't that bad here. Our entire house (6 apartments in all) decided to have a Saturday Brunch (minus the Mimosas). Up on our roof we dined on waffles, ice cream and mangoes while taking in the sunshine and skyline views. Here's the squinty-eyed crew, a majority of Americans, a Canadian couple and one Kiwi.
Rachel decided she wanted to master the waffle iron and prided herself on cooking them just right! Perhaps most impressive was the fact that she served them with chopsticks!
We're all having a debate about putting a kiddie pool on the roof. Some argue that the roof will collapse. No one really knows...Sudanese construction isn't the best I hear. As long as it's put on the other side of the building I'm willing to take the risk!
