Hubba-hubba. Haven't seen this much skin in three weeks! "Hey Toto, I don't think we're in Sudan anymore!" No, in fact, we managed to land right smack dab in the US Embassy Rec Site, along the Nile. One of our newbie co-workers is married to an Embassy worker, so we were on the list. (Remember that elusive "list" from last week?? Again, a big sigh of relief!)
Finally the activity seemed to match the weather! It truly felt like what a late-August afternoon should be--sunshine, pools, BBQ and thanks to the diplomatic privileges, beverages! Not bad at all!
